I made a lot of progress, I recently reviewed my shelves critically and decided to let go more books that were not making any progress towards the top of the TBR pile. Of the original list, there are five that refuse to go yet: three are still on MntTBR and will be staying there for a while longer; I am reading one and I have another one left; these last two had been promised to BCers, and I hope to be mailing them in January or February at the latest.
I have learned to let go of books more easily with this challenge and have made some space on my shelves (which are still pretty full).
